The Level 1 Instructional Foundations Course.
This course is both a masterclass in women's self-defense & an instructor development course. The course covers a sweeping range of content with roughly 10 hours of online material prerequisite to three days in person.
The curriculum covers: in-depth threat assessment, environmental & interpersonal awareness, managing socio-cultural norms impacting decision-making, legal & ethical considerations, introduction to trauma management, psycho-social impact of training before/after a violent experience, integrated teaching using both principle & technical instruction, research based teaching methodologies for rapid skill acquisition & retention, simple & tested, easy to learn & teach (principle-based) skills specific to women.
Particularly focusing on the common threats initiated by an individual known to her.
