(content warning below)
We (Bill Jensen and Check Freedman) in our role as Private Investigators working in the anti human trafficking space and hostage negotiators working in the anti kidnapping space, we often end up leading people in the middle of crisis. By nature of our work, we help individuals (families & organizations) face the realities of what their loved ones are going through. Those topics are often heavy as they include topics like rape, emotional and psychological abuse, torture, and other exploitation. Often we have to lead them through the distinct possibility that their loved ones might be deceased. Our 45 minute course would focus on the foundation of crisis leadership using lessons learned from Psychological First Aid, Critical Incident Stress Management, Crisis Negotiations, and Investigations and our backgrounds in international conflict management. This will be a wave tops, bare bones introduction to "Crisis Leadership"...
We will take this deeper with our 500Rising colleagues in the second half of the discussion.
